Die Gegend um den Gare du Midi (den Südbahnhof) in Brüssel ist, nun ja, nennen wir es mal bunt. Wie Bahnhofsgegenden das ja öfter mal an sich haben. Sie sieht eigentlich ungefähr so aus wie dieser Briefkasten. Ein schönes Beispiel dafür, dass Briefkästen ihre Umgebung widerspiegeln. Nächstes Mal gibt es dann ein Gegenbeispiel – auch wieder aus Belgien!

Calling the surroundings of Brussels´ Midi Station „colourful“ is putting it mildly. Funny that the areas around stations are often so run down and dodgy. The area looks pretty much like this letterbox. A nice examples of a postbox reflecting the area it is in. Next time, I´ll present you another example – from Belgium as well.
