Diese beiden Zwillinge hängen direkt gegenüber des schiefen Turms von Pisa. Schauen den Touristen aus aller Welt dabei zu, wie sie sich für ein Urlaubsfoto komplett zum Affen machen. Sie hassen Touristen. Das sind solche Tölpel! Alle sind so individuell, angeblich, und doch fotografieren sie sich alle in den gleichen dummen Posen und schauen blöd aus der Wäsche. Aber, so ist anzunehmen, nur wegen dieser Topattraktion (dabei hat Pisa so viele andere schöne Ecken) und wegen dieser vielen Touristen, die viele schnell hingekritzelte Postkarten schreiben: „Hi Mom, we´re in Pisa right now, soon leaving for Florence! It´s amazing!“), wegen dieser vielen Postkarten also sind die beiden Briefkästen hier zu zweit. In aller Regel hängen Briefkästen in Italien mutterseelenallein herum. Und wie überall in Italien, sind sie fast komplett zugekleistert mit Aufklebern aller Art.

These two twins are hanging right opposite Pisa´s leaning tower in Italy. They see tourists from all over the world making complete fools of themselves taking pictures in front of the tower. They hate tourists. They are such fools! All of them claim to be sooo individualistic, yet they all take the same pictures of themselves in the same poses. But, the proximity to one of Italy´s prime attractions (and the many people visiting it and sending their postcards „Hi Mom, we´re in Pisa right now, soon leaving for Florence! It´s amazing!“, that is probably the reason why there is two of them in this picture. Usually, letterboxes in Italy hang around all by themselves. Full of stickers and bills.

Und zur Feier des Tages nochmal eine etwas andere Perspektive. Die junge Frau auf dem Bild hat ihren Kaffeebecher einfach auf dem Briefkasten abgestellt. Respektlos. Als nächstes wird sie sich vor den schiefen Turm stellen und dumme Fotos machen.
